Airy, seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the area of Admissions within the Enrollment Services department.  This position reports to the Director of Admissions. Candidates for this position are required to have a minimum of five years experience in an academic environment, with exceptional organizational and communication expertise. Candidates must be capable of managing multiple priorities, be trustworthy, and maintain composure in challenging situations.  A hospitable nature is vital. The assistant will work closely with students, faculty, staff and guests from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Part-Time Security Officers

The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia

The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia is seeking to hire part-time security officers for its campus in the Mt. Airy section of the city. Candidates must have at least one year of security experience, military or civilian. They should also have certification in CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation), use of an AED (automatic external defibrillator), and basic first aid, or have the capability of attaining the aforementioned certifications within six months of initial assignment.

Specific duties include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Walking patrol of the seminary’s 15 acre campus,
  • Utilize two-way radios,
  • Respond to fire and burglar alarm activations,
  • Prepare incident/information reports and daily activity logs,
  • Monitor closed-circuit television surveillance system,
  • Monitor dormitory and learning center access control system,
  • Conduct parking lot inventories and surveys.
