Nearly 150 leaders are gathered at the Convocation for worship, learning and fellowship.

St. Paul writes, "I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called...." Ephesians 4:1
This year as we continue to explore avenues to align our plans, priorities and programs with God's purpose and mission, I am pleased to invite all rostered leaders to discover and examine how our leadership makes all the difference in the ministries we serve. We will gather as community for three days to pray, worship, learn, and discuss how each of us, and all of us, are Called to Extraordinary Leadership. Three extraordinary leaders will guide us in our conversations and reflections at the Convocation: Stephen Treat, Steven McKinley and Stephen Marsh. With God's help, and our presenters' insights, we will discern how to live a life worthy of the calling to which we have been called ... in body, mind, behavior and spirit.
I look forward to this time apart together. Please invite your colleagues, especially those new to our Synod, for a most refreshing, renewing and extraordinary retreat.
