Code Blue volunteer training
If you are interested in volunteering at Code Blue shelters in Bucks and Montgomery counties, training opportunities are upcoming in Langhorne on Jan. 31 and in Lansdale on Feb. 6 and 21.
Bucks County
In Lower Bucks, a number of organizations and churches are cooperating to have a Code Blue shelter available when needed.
The next Code Blue volunteer training session is scheduled for 2 p.m. Jan. 31 at St. James Episcopal Church, 330 South Bellevue Ave. in Langhorne. Information about volunteer opportunities is posted online at sites.google.com/site/advocates4homeless/

Montgomery County
Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, has been designated a Code Blue shelter for the county, and is working with community volunteers to provide staffing.
Trinity will host two training sessions, on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 9:30-11:30 am and on Sunday, Feb. 21 from 1:30-3:30 pm. Please RSVP for the training to so that appropriate materials can be available.
