The Synod’s Lutheran/Bryson Gay and Lesbian Task Force will sponsor an adult retreat, “Coming out as sacrament,” September 25-26 at Bear Creek Camp. This program of fellowship, learning and spiritual renewal is based on the book of the same title by Chris Glaser (available through Amazon.com).  LGTB adults who are post high school are invited to explore the ideas in this book, which argues that sexual minorities, often denied their churches’ traditional sacraments, have found unique access to the sacred in their lives: coming out of the closet.  Cost is $60 and registration deadline is Sept. 13.
